SABLE MOUNTAIN LODGE
Sable Mountain Lodge is perched high on one of the Beho Beho Hills and spread across 2 peaks with magnificent views to the Uluguru Mountains in an area with both wildlife and bird life.
Sable Mountain Lodge is the fabulous new base from which to explore the Selous Game Reserve. With just 8 stone cottages individually spaced out over the hillside, the lodge offers intimate and personal service in the midst of a vast wilderness. Each cottage provides spacious and stylish accommodation with full en-suite facilities, 24 hour solar lighting, a spring water supply and wonderful views from a private verandah.
Sable Mountain Lodge is a restaurant serving international cuisine, and the well stocked "Cup and Bucket" bar, the perfect setting to unwind before dinner.
At night relax in the snug, the perfect place for stargazers to observe the pristine night sky and experience the sounds of the bush.
On the West side of the camp is a tree-house overlooking a waterhole. Regular evening guests include elephants, buffalo, leopard, sable antelope and wild dogs.
Sable Mountain Lodge's new swimming pool, has commanding views across the game rich hills behind the lodge.
RUFIJI RIVER CAMP
The camp has twenty tents, all with river views and each having its own veranda. The tents are shaded by makuti roofs and all have mosquito netting. The tents are furnished with writing desks, shelves and hanging pegs for clothes.
Most tents have twin beds and double beds are available on request.
The bathroom is a permanent structure connected at the back of the tent.
The dining, bar and lounge are all shaded by makuti roofs with views of the Rugiji river.
